Itchy Feet & Open Roads: April Calendar

For someone who’s spent years chasing adventure, hopping from city to city, and embracing the thrill of new places, staying in one spot for this long has been… different. Comfortable, yes. Cozy, definitely. There’s something deeply satisfying about being curled up at home, surrounded by my cats, my books, and all the little luxuries that make life feel effortless. But lately, the familiar itch has returned—the one that whispers it’s time to pack a bag, hit the road, and trade stillness for motion once again.

This past year, I’ve only managed a few quick trips here and there. So, its time to take myself on a regional Far North Queensland road trip—a return to a journey I first did back in 2020 when I traveled from club to club as a stripper. But this time, it’s different. This time, it’s about revisiting old stomping grounds with fresh eyes, indulging in new experiences, and, of course, meeting some incredible suitors along the way.

The plan? A scenic drive through Gladstone (where I lived for a few years before returning to Brisbane), Rockhampton, Mackay (my absolute favorite), Airlie Beach, Townsville, Cairns, and a final stop in Emerald to break up the journey back home. Each place holds a story, a memory, or a moment from my past, and I can’t wait to add new ones to the collection.

If you know the best hidden gems, must-see spots, or unforgettable dining experiences along the way, I’d love to hear your recommendations. And for those who’ve been waiting for the perfect chance to meet me in person—this is it. I can’t wait to share this adventure with those who appreciate the thrill of spontaneity and the pleasure of good company. See you soon, Far North Queensland!
