Identifying your audience and marketing specifically to them will ensure that you have the best opportunities to work with the kind of clients that you want to work with. You can identify your target market by listing their demographics and psychographics. Once you know who your ideal client is, you can target them with your particular brand, styling and mediums.
Invest In Your Brand.
There is an art to curating your brand and professional photography goes a long way. Your audience will be highly visual, so this is an investment worth making. A predominantly visual audience doesn’t mean they won’t be reading your words. A thoughtfully written biography will allow insight into your personality, which is an undeniably important part of your brand. If you would like to exercise discretion, be sure to create a persona that is sustainable, and one that you will enjoy as much as your clients will. Do your research on leading escorts and how they present themselves and be prepared to view your persona objectively. Your brand will require constant attention, so be sure to set aside time for this.
Use Social Media.
Social Media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter are invaluable tools for you to market your brand, research other escorts’ branding techniques and find a community to engage with. While your website and Ivy Société profile will offer insight into your personality, social media is an outlet where you can be creative, and show off your personality.
Pack Your Essential Items.
Investing in the right products for your service(s) is something to consider. To ensure a safe and desirable experience, you will want your kit to have these essentials:
- A good quality lubricant(s) that works with your body and services
- Good quality condoms to accommodate all sizes and preferences
- Antibacterial soap
- Mints
- Mouthwash
- Hand sanitizer
Learn the Language.
Incall and Outcall are terms you will hear almost immediately. Simply, Incalls are escorts receiving clients to their home, hotel or specific incall space and Outcalls are where an escort travels to the client. This is a personal preference and you will decide what you feel most comfortable doing. You may be flexible and offer both, you may value your privacy above all else and prefer outcalls, or perhaps you feel better in your own space and choose to offer Incalls only. It’s all on your terms.

Take Safety Precautions.
There are a number of safety precautions that you can take to protect yourself in this industry. Ultimately it is up to you how you would like to conduct yourself as an escort and you will need to determine if you are willing to take certain risks, or if you will prioritise your safety and well-being. It is important to note that regardless of how safe a worker you are, there will always be risk in this industry. We recommend using a blend of these precautions, as there is always the possibility of an illegitimate screening. We believe your intuition is a very strong indicator of whether or not you are in a safe environment. Trust your intuition, but never rely solely upon it.
- Hire a driver or security guard who will wait outside of hotels, residences or incalls during your booking
- Request the clients driver’s license with today’s date written next to it
- Request the clients business card
- Request the clients linked in account
- Request the clients facebook account
- Work with another escort
- Work out of a brothel
- Take a deposit (We suggest Beem It or Gift Card deposits)
- Speak to the client on the phone to gauge their personality
- Listen to your instincts, and leave/cancel if you feel that something is off
Get Paid.
When taking deposits or payments there are a number of options available to you. It is up to you how you would like to receive payments, however the popular options are:
Cash.
This is generally the preferred method for payment during bookings. In Australia, we don’t need to worry too much about fake notes, however it is recommended that you familiarise yourself with how to spot a fake note and keep up to date with the new designs.
Bank Transfer / Bank Deposit.
Bank transfers can take up to three days to clear, so this is generally not an ideal method for last minute bookings. Bank deposits into a smart ATM or over the counter are instant, so they are great for last minute bookings.
It is important to note that when you give out your personal bank details, it is possible that the bank clerk will divulge your real name. Never refund a client using a transfer from your personal bank account as their statement will have your personal name on it. Unfortunately there has been an increase in fake bank transfer receipts so we highly recommend only doing a booking if the payment has been received into your bank account.
Gift Cards:
Ivy Société suggests creating a small list of online stores you would like to receive gift cards to. Our personal favourites are Woolworths, Uber, David Jones, Mecca and Myer.
Uber Gift Cards:
These gift cards can be purchased online or instore using cash/credit and the client can send you a photo of the unique voucher code so you can add to your Uber App
Beem It:
This is quickly becoming a popular payment method. We recommend downloading the App and creating an account. Once you add your bank card (can be your personal card), go back into settings to ensure it hasn’t auto filled your real name.
It is important to note that Paypal is not a safe payment method, as it is easy for the client to draw back the funds and shut down your account. We strongly advise against using Paypal.
Find a Mentor.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. There are a number of established escorts that offer mentoring.
