How Ivy Societe deals with scams

Read the fine print

When interacting on Ivy Societe, professionalism and mutual respect are key to creating positive experiences. Clients must take time to familiarise themselves with each advertiser’s policies, including their cancellation notice periods, to avoid misunderstandings. Remember that advertisers are real people with lives outside their work, and immediate responses cannot always be guaranteed. Emergencies and illnesses can happen, so extending understanding and compassion is crucial. We expect all parties on Ivy Societe to interact thoughtfully and respectfully, recognising the human connection behind each exchange.

We don’t tolerate scams

At Ivy Societe, we are deeply committed to fostering a platform and community built on trust, respect, and professionalism. Every complaint submitted to us is escalated directly to our Founder, Blaire Hunter, for thorough investigation. Her vision is for Ivy Societe to remain a safe and trustworthy platform for everyone involved. As part of this commitment, any parties found to have engaged in dishonest or scamming behaviour have their account suspended from the platform.

How to get help

Contact us via email and summarise the issue, it will also save time if you can provide evidence of text threads, written exchanges, a copy of the receipt (if you’ve made a deposit) and proof that you’ve already reached out to the advertiser to seek a resolution or answer. We need all of this information before we can contact the advertiser. It’s important to note that we also recommend clients wait 72 hours before contacting us, as we’ve found in most cases the advertisers will respond with an update. Sometimes, unexpected emergencies can delay their reply, so it’s best to allow them time to respond before following up.

Once we reach out to the advertiser, we provide them with 72 hours to respond and share any additional considerations or relevant information. This may include their terms of service, cancellation policies, or other pertinent details. It’s important to note that there are legitimate circumstances under which an escort may retain a deposit, such as instances of dangerous or inappropriate behavior from a client, persistent harassment through excessive messaging, or outright rudeness. We aim to consider all factors carefully before making a fair and balanced decision.

It’s all about community

Building trust and maintaining professionalism are essential for the success of our community. While we understand there may be valid reasons for withholding a deposit, dishonest behavior negatively impacts not only the individuals involved but also the broader community. These actions can undermine advertiser credibility and erode the trust clients have in the platform, ultimately making success more challenging for everyone.

Our aim is to foster an environment where advertisers and clients alike feel respected and secure, and where professionalism is upheld. By addressing issues fairly and transparently, we ensure that legitimate concerns are taken into account while safeguarding the integrity of the Ivy Societe community.
