After a stunning FMTY invitation that swept me from the warmth of Australia to the charm of the UK, I’ve returned sun-kissed (yes, I brought the sunshine with me) and soul-nourished. What a beautiful whirlwind it’s been—Manchester, London, Leeds—and all the wonderful gents who made it truly unforgettable.
We began with Manchester, where the highlight was Mana—a dining experience that was truly to die for. Every course was art on a plate, and it set the tone for the rest of my indulgent journey. Between decadent bites and slow sips of wine, I found myself deeply immersed in the city’s character: rich with history, creativity, and charm. A few private encounters behind closed doors added a spark to the trip, as did the gracious gentlemen who didn’t just book time—they became my tour guides, my co-adventurers, and in some cases, dear friends.
London was a dream. Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre? Absolutely incredible. The atmosphere, the voices, the drama—goosebumps. The next night, Moulin Rouge was a vibrant contrast: playful, seductive, and drop-dead beautiful. I glammed up, of course, and melted into the moment.
The days in between were a blend of exploring galleries, enjoying decadent lunches, and slipping into a slower rhythm. A few gorgeous gifts found their way into my luggage (thank you, darlings—you know who you are), and I felt spoiled in all the right ways.
Then came Leeds—charming, understated, and surprisingly romantic. The connection and generosity I experienced there were the perfect ending to a trip filled with elegance, intimacy, and a touch of hedonism.
This journey reminded me why I love what I do—not just the beautiful behind-closed-doors moments, but the companionship, the laughter, the shared curiosity. You welcomed me with open arms and open hearts, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
I already can’t wait to come back.
Until next time.
