Escort Interview

Your Name:

Nadia Ariti

What kind of service do you offer?

At the moment, my services are virtual, but I usually provide full services, specifically the GFE.

How long have you been doing sw?

Wow, it feels like I’ve been working forever! I started in my early twenties and I’ve been on and off since.

What influenced you to choose this line type of work?

I stumbled upon this Industry quite unexpectedly. Back then, I had quit my previous job and was struggling with a lot of debt. Thankfully, an opportunity presented itself, and I decided to give it a shot for a year to get back on track financially. After achieving my goal, I moved on to other work but kept coming back to this Industry ever since every now and then.

Where are you working from now?

Right now, I’m working from the comfort of my own home.

Have you done any touring? If so, where have you been and where are you going next?

Back in the day, I used to tour a lot. I’ve toured mostly Sydney and Townsville. Since starting a family, it’s become a bit trickier to do so, and I no longer tour anymore or travel far from Brisbane.

What do you do to ensure you are fit for work?

Staying in shape isn’t just about physical fitness for me. I believe in keeping my mind healthy too. Working this job can be tough, and if you don’t pay attention, it can drain you mentally. That’s why I make time for activities that help me stay mentally balanced.

What do you enjoy the most about your work?

Good question! There are so many reasons why. A lot of people presume it’s just about the money, but it’s about so much more than that. I get to be my own boss, work autonomously, make my own schedule, and balance my work and family life in a way that a typical 9-5 job just doesn’t allow. Plus, I get to meet and connect with some amazing clients who make my job all that more enjoyable.

What do you dislike the most about your work?

When you work privately by yourself, it’s easy to feel a bit lonely. There’s not much opportunity for socialising. Then we have the time wasters! They can really drain you mentally and take a toll on you. It’s not like back in the day when clients were straightforward with no-nonsense. Now, you really have to weed out the fakes from the genuine inquiries & unfortunately, there are more time wasters than genuine clients. Additionally, I’m not much of a social media fan either. It has always been a bit of a struggle for me.

Have you had any really weird happenings? If so, what were they?

I wouldn’t say they were weird, just unique and it caught me off guard. One time, a client brought in a pair of pantyhose and asked me to wear them. He went to the bathroom and came out wearing a pair too! After cutting holes in the crotch, he then put a pair over our heads and the entire booking was done wearing the pantyhose. It was an unexpected experience, but I couldn’t help but find it absolutely hilarious – It was a very fun booking, to say the least…

Is there any advice you would have for SWs just starting out?

Remember, you’re not alone. It’s always reassuring to know that there are many resources available to lend a helping hand – from peers to Respect. It’s easy to get carried away with the idea of making quick and easy money, only to realise later that saving anything you can is critical when business is slow. Sometimes you can go for days or even months without a booking – so it’s always best to stash away some money away for those rainy days, and any unanticipated bills that come your way.

Do you have any goals for career progression in this industry?

Unfortunately, I don’t have a solid plan at the moment, but one thing’s for sure – I don’t want to be doing this forever. I plan to exit at some point and hopefully resist the temptation to come back.

Is there something you think that the general public would assume about SWs that doesn’t reflect reality?

Quite a few things. Some people think that we must have suffered some sort of abuse to join this line of work, or that we’re all just addicts trying to get our next fix. But truth be told, that simply isn’t the case. While a few might have faced difficult circumstances or struggle with addiction, end of the day we are just regular people trying to get by in the world like everyone else. And finally, there’s a common perception that we’re not like regular people – that we’re very different and somehow this job defines us where we are unable to experience love, relationships, start our own families or even have a regular life outside of this job. But this job doesn’t define us, we are not this job and we are capable of all doing those things and more!

Do your family and friends know that you are a SW?

To be honest, my mum is the only one who knows. I mustered up the courage to tell her shortly after I began, and while I did share with a few friends early on too, that didn’t turn out too well in the end. Lesson learned – so, I’ve decided to keep this to myself and at the moment, no one else knows.

Is there anything you feel that the industry as a whole could improve on?

It’s important to support each other, but unfortunately, not everyone does that. Some providers see others as competition and if they don’t like you, they can be rather petty. They might send horrible clients your way, badmouth you to clients, or even leave negative reviews about you. It’s crazy to think that some can do all this and still pretend to be your friend.

What are the perks of doing this work?

Personally, I love the opportunity to treat myself to a few fancy hotel stays and enjoy some unforgettable dates.

What’s the biggest life lesson you have learned from doing SW? A key lesson I’ve learnt in this line of work is “You learn what to give of yourself and what not to give” people will only do what you allow and setting boundaries for clients is paramount. Even your loyal regular clients can turn out to be untrustworthy, so it’s best to always exercise caution at every encounter.

Have you come across people that shouldn’t be in this industry?

No. Not yet.

Can you recall a favourite booking? What made it so great?

Wow! This is a tricky question. To be honest, there are too many to count! However, I’m a bit of a romantic and for me, it’s the small gestures that really make my day. Whether it’s the client surprising me with my favourite bottle of wine or leaving out an extra towel for me, adding some candles and soft music to the mix – those are the moments that truly make my day.

Can you recall a really shit booking? What made it so shit?

When I used to work at parlours, I encountered a few bookings where the client was constantly complaining and behaving rudely. He kept biting me and being overly rough, despite my requests to stop. He refused to respect my boundaries, so I ended the booking without providing a refund.

Have you had involvement with the police because of this job? What was their response? No. Luckily I haven’t had to yet.

How long do you anticipate you’ll be doing SW?

Honestly, I don’t have a set time frame, I’m not sure.

Is there anything else you would like to add hasn’t been discussed?

No.

Please summarise your work in one sentence.

Fun, interesting, and best of all no two days are the same.
