Those who are rude.

As that is my normal “go to.” However, I have never, ever, not once, reneged and said “yes sure, you were rude once, so I am going to give you the opportunity to do it again.”. Just “no.”. That would be ‘more fool me’. And I am not a fool.

And I hope that those men do.

Regulars immediately figure out they can pay in advance in full as their deposit to save dealing with business at the playdate. And that’s nice and easy. Not requested but easy. I also used to get the occasional new client simply pay in full as their deposit without even meeting me.
However, I have noticed in the last 6 months clients having never met me are now increasingly (without me requesting it), paying the deposit and then texting me to say the just paid the full amount. Or, they ask “can just pay the full amount”, I honestly don’t care either way.
BUT. This is what it does from my end. I like them more immediately. Not because I have been paid in full. I don’t give a shit about that. But because they are clearly smart, intelligent and most of all INTUITIVE. They can read an ad, look at a business and make a correct judgement about someone and the way they operate. And I admire that. And it makes me feel honorable which I am.
I’m just saying.
Some people cite “you have to earn trust”.
I don’t subscribe to that personally. I give trust to people. Until they take it from me.
