What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Getting to meet and talk to all my clients! I love hearing people’s stories and this job has given me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Some of my clients have such crazy and different lives – it’s amazing to be able to hear their experiences!
If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be?
The stigma with the industry from people outside the industry to clients to providers. There’s a lot of biases people hold regarding all aspects of the industry which is really disheartening. I’ve met some amazing people and the community I’ve become part of since joining has been great, but there’s always work to be done.
What’s a song that always lifts your mood?
Right now it’s THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND by Bad Omens.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Traveling with a friend for three months with just the two of us after high school. Considering our inexperience and the fact that neither of us had travelled much, especially not without others, it went super well. Made some great memories and definitely keen to do something similar soon.
What’s a quote or saying that resonates with you deeply?
Un jour je serai de retour près de toi.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give to your younger self?
Choose to do what you love in life! It’s not worth pursuing something just for the money and you’ll be happier and live more freely that way.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My friends and familly, of course. Can’t really say any specific person who’s had the most influence but I believe we’re all just amalgamations of the people we love and surround ourselves with.
