What is your ideal date with a client?
I love going out to eat. It’s the main reason I have spent so many years living and working in Surry Hills. Even when I was a broke student or in the early days of my old career, I would still find ways to stretch my budget to fit in a meal at a restaurant or café. I love discovering new places and returning to old ones and remembering the times I’ve spent there in the past and the people I spent them with. Food is something that’s essential to living and the way something that could be so ordinary is made extraordinary through creativity and passion and love is, for me, what gives life joy.
It should be no surprise then that my favourite date is a dinner date. Don’t get me wrong, I also love short, steamy sessions, but there’s something so wonderful about getting to know someone and bonding with them over food. I’m not a huge drinker generally, but my exception is enjoying a cocktail and a couple of glasses of wine together over dinner. In my absolute ideal scenario, I would be given free reign over choosing a restaurant and maybe even a cocktail bar to start our evening at, but I also love it when someone shows me something new.
What’s your biggest turn on?
It’s difficult to say what my biggest turn on is… I would describe myself as easy to turn on, but at the same time easy to turn off and once I’m off it’s very difficult to get back on. My turnoffs are any kind of disrespectful or inconsiderate behaviour. I like to feel special. I like when people understand that having a good time is more than just a particular act or technique, it’s a whole mood and experience. I like to take things slow and let them build. I also respond well to compliments, small gifts and kisses.
What’s your favourite restaurant and your favourite dish on the menu?
I don’t think I would choose a favourite dish, but I am always up for the seafood or steak option on any menu. My favourite restaurants are the kind that are intimate and unpretentious with a good wine list, like Poly, Jane’s and Bloodwood.
Among your friends, what are you best known for?
My sense of humour, my generosity and my very blunt reality checks.
What’s something you couldn’t live without?
My pets, no question. My apartment floor is littered with toys, I own at least 5 lint rollers and I recently purchased an Ikea couch purely because I can replace the covers each year when they are inevitably destroyed, and I wouldn’t trade it for a second.
What’s Your favourite Place on Earth?
I’m a massive homebody, so to be honest my favourite place is on my couch with my pets or any beach that I can take my dog.
If you could have any celebrity as a client, who would it be and why?
Someone I know had a famous artist as a client and he spent the evening painting her and gifted her the painting at the end and I have always been envious and would love for that to happen to me. Otherwise maybe Joe Manganiello, purely so I could ask to see more pictures of his chihuahua.
