Diving into the Whimsical World of Poppy

How would you describe yourself?
I would say I’m silly, approachable, and carefree. I have a relaxed energy and I love to listen. I crave variety in all aspects of my life. Being a companion gives me a thrill that’s impossible to replicate.

What inspired your pseudonym/working name?
It’s not that deep. I thought it reflected my cute, nature hippy vibe. It’s been 2 years and it still takes me a beat to respond to Poppy, haha.

Share a piece of advice for clients reading your journal!
Go for the extended adventure! I hear it time and again: “I wish I had booked for longer.” Three hours hits that sweet spot – relaxation, connection and plenty of exploration. Let’s not zip through a fantastic first date.

If a blank cheque was handed to you for a dream trip, which destination would you jet off to?
I’ve been lucky enough to travel to 20 countries already, including doing part of my degree in France. I’ve been enjoying exploring all the nature spots Australia has to offer. WA to swim with the whales is next on my list and obviously, I’m traveling with adventure partner Lulu Valentine.

Which movie scene perfectly describes a day in your life?
Something from The Little Mermaid because I try to jump in the ocean as much as possible. Except my sidekick Sebastian is a cat.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?
Greta Gerwig so I could slip into the Barbie movie. I want to be the female Alan. She wears track pants, cross-stitches, and sips tea.

Beyond professional life, what sparks your interest or passion?
I foster cats with an animal rescue charity. I love getting to meet so many different kitty personalities, and it’s so rewarding seeing them settle into forever homes.
