After the success of our second gala in 2023, Ivy Societe is excited to present our third Sex Worker Only Gala event, which will be held in Melbourne on February 4th, 2024. The theme of our upcoming event is ‘Nuit d’Amour,’ translated to ‘Night of Love.’ This event is an inclusive space, celebrating the love, camaraderie, and empowerment of our community. Invitees
This event is exclusively for individuals in the sex work industry. Open to all gender identities, the only requirement for attendance is that you are a verified sex worker. Our priority is the privacy and safety of our community, so proof of your professional status is mandatory for ticket purchase.
Please ensure that you buy your ticket using your working name and associated work email. Please do not disclose your legal name or personal information during this process. Dress Code
Join us for ‘Nuit d’Amour,’ our ‘Night of Love.’ Whether you opt for vibrant hues, sultry silhouettes, or a striking ensemble, let your outfit be a testament to the fearless love and unity we are celebrating. We invite you to make a statement.
The Gala is a formal, black-tie event. Dress in your finest formal or cocktail outfit. If you choose to wear heels, be sure they’re comfortable enough to allow for socializing and dancing.
The Venue
Ivy Societe recognizes the Woiwurrung People as the Traditional Custodians of the land where this event will take place, and we extend our respect to Elders, both past and present.
For the privacy and safety of our guests, the venue’s name will remain confidential until 9 hours before the event, at which point verified ticket holders will be emailed the specific location details. For your travel planning, we can disclose that the venue is situated in Melbourne’s Central Business District. The venue is wheelchair-friendly and doesn’t require the use of elevators. The event kicks off at 7pm; we ask that you aim to arrive between 7pm and 7:30pm.
Food And Dietary Requirements
We’ve planned the menu to include ample choices for vegetarians, vegans, and those requiring gluten-free options. If you have additional dietary needs or allergies, please specify these when buying your ticket or reach out to us directly at hello@ivysociete.com.
Ticket Pricing and Inclusions
This is a not-for-profit event and your ticket price is inclusive of everything offered at the Gala. Each ticket holder will have access into the venue where your ticket entitles you to a variety of canapés, more substantial dishes, and drinks from the bar. We offer a selection of alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and spirits. For those preferring non-alcoholic options, an array of choices, including a refreshing Watermelon Fizz mocktail will be offered. Please note that cocktails are not included in the ticket price. The complimentary bar service will be available for a 4-hour window, starting at 7pm.
Sales And Refunds
Ticket sales conclude at 11.59pm on January 25, 2024. If you’ve bought a ticket and find you can’t attend, be aware that refunds are only available until 11.59pm January 24, 2024.
Sponsored Tickets and Donations
Ivy Societe is sponsoring a number of tickets for those who wish to attend the Gala yet do not have the financial means to purchase a ticket. These tickets operate on an honour system, and we won’t require any verification of your financial situation. To inquire about a sponsored ticket, please reach out to us at hello@ivysociete.com.
The availability of sponsored tickets can increase with community contributions. While clients are not eligible to attend, their donations are welcome, as are contributions from sex workers. Donations of any size are appreciated and can be made through our third-party ticketing platform.

Photography
The safety and privacy of our attendees are of the utmost importance to us. Please pay close attention to our photography guidelines. A photographer will be available in a specific area for the first hour of the event for those who wish to have their photos taken upon arrival. Photographers will not be roaming the venue to take candid shots.
If you choose to have your photo taken, please do so only if you’re comfortable with it being shared on social media. For those who prefer to keep their identity private but still want to be photographed, you can use Ivy Societe themed props to conceal your face.
We also ask that you exercise caution when using your own phone to take photos. Always seek consent when taking selfies or photos with others, and please avoid capturing room-wide shots. These measures are in place to protect the identities of those who wish to keep them private.
Feel free to tag us in any consensually-taken photos you post on social media. Use the instagram handle @IvySociete, twitter handle @IvySocieteHQ and the hashtag #ivysociete. Kindly refrain from tagging the venue until after the event has concluded.
Safety
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our community, and we implement rigorous safety protocols to uphold this. Each ticket holder will undergo a vetting process, and the event location will only be disclosed to verified attendees. Upon arrival, a staff member will greet you at the door to validate your ticket against the guest list.

Ivy Societe reserves the right to refuse the sale of tickets to any individual based on the following, though not exclusively limited to, reasons:
- Previous violations of event terms and conditions.
- Conduct that has been disruptive, harmful, or poses a security risk at past events organized by Ivy Societe.
- Actions or behavior that make other attendees feel uncomfortable or unsafe, both during and outside of events.
- Known engagement in activities that are contrary to the purpose and spirit of the event.
- Violation of any local, state, or federal laws or regulations
The decision to deny the purchase of a ticket will be made at the sole discretion of Ivy Societe and its authorized personnel.
